India, Windies to play opening Test in Antigua on July 21

Submitted by alvin on Thu, 2016-06-02 20:26 New Delhi: The Virat Kohli-led side will play their opening match of the four-Test series against West Indies in Antigua on July 21 as the schedule and venue for the tour have been announced on Thursday. According to a West Indies Cricket Board statement, a two-day practice match will be held from July 9 in St Kitts followed by a three-day warm-up match from July 14 at the same venue. The second Test will be played in Jamaica from July 30-August 3, while the third will be held in St. Lucia from August 9-13. The seven-week tour will be concluded with the final game at Port-of-Spain in Trinidad and Tobago. India had won a three-match Test series 1-0 when they visited the Caribbean islands last time in June 2011.
