Why not dub ‘Baahubali 2’ in Kannada, ask Twittaratis

The sequel to mega blockbuster is being dubbed in Tamil, Malayalam and even Hindi

Bengaluru: The post-production work of Baahubali 2 – The conclusion – is going on at a rapid pace as its release date is inching closer (April 28). Already, the movie is being dubbed in Tamil, Malayalam and even Hindi languages. This has upset Kannadiga movie buffs, who want the Baahubali 2 to be dubbed in Kannada, for wider reach.

When Baahubali 2 could be dubbed in Hindi, Tamil and Malayalam languages, why exclude Kannada, ask twittaratis with #Bahubali2InKannada.

Director SS Rajamouli recently updated the posters of Baahubali 2 in three languages. This has caused much heartburn among Kannadiga movie-goers who lapped up ‘Baahubali’. Now, they want its sequel to be dubbed in Kannada.

A twittarati asked "Director Rajamouli is Kannadiga. While Kichcha Sudeep and Anushka Shetty – Kannadigas – have acted in it, Lahari Music of Bengaluru has purchased the movie's audio rights. Yet, what's the harm if the movie is dubbed in Kannada?"

"If dubbing was dangerous then Tamil and Talugu film industries would not have survived till now," wondered another twitterati.

See, how twittaratis are reacting …
