The police found her house locked up. The police had sought help from the victim to identify the accused – who are already in the custody – to take the case forward. The victim did not come to identify when notified on previous occasions. On Monday, the victim was expected to come for the identification parade but when she did not turn up. When the police reportedly went to her house, they found the house locked-up. The victim has either left the city or moved to some other locality, feel the police. However, this is going to affect the case and the accused might get the bail, say the police. It may be recalled here, the victim was molested by two men while she was returning home after the New Year party in Kammanahalli. The brazen attack was caught in the CCTV and it had created uproar in the city questioning the safety of women. So, far the police have arrested six persons in connection with the case.
