With reservoirs going dry, Bengalureans may have rationed water soon

A decision in this regard would be taken at a meeting scheduled for Thursday where officials from Water Resources, Cauvery Neeravari Nigam and Water Board would participate, it is learnt. With the impending drought, water level at most of the reservoirs have touched an alarming low. This has forced the government on water rationing in the city, it is learnt. Presently, majority of the wards in the city are supplied water on alternate days. If the government goes ahead with the water rationing, people may get water for two days in a week.
