Submitted by alvin on Tue, 2016-06-07 17:04 Mysuru: Residents of Mysuru seem to have a craving for antiques, as gramophones put up for sale on Vinobha Road sold out within hours.“I put up 9 pieces of gramophone for sale and they sold out within two hours. Antique pieces have huge demand in Mysuru,” said Abdul Latheef, an antique dealer from Kerala. Latheef said he would return to Mysuru in December this year.Gayathri, a resident of Kuvempunagar, said she was delighted to own a gramophone. “It was my dream to buy a vintage gramophone. But as they are not easily available, I couldn't own one. Now I will showcase it on my home,” she said.
