3 farmers injured in wild elephant attack in Chikmagaluru

Chikmagaluru: Three farmers were injured while trying to flee from three wild elephants in Mudigere taluk.

The incident happened in Kodebyle village, Mudigere taluk, Chikmagaluru district.

One of the farmers, Mohan Gowda, suffered serious injuries to his arms and legs and has been admitted to a Banakal government hospital.

Local farmers said three elephants were repeatedly seen on farms in Bankenahalli, Kogile, Koodahalli, Kodebylu, and surrounding areas.




Following the latest incident, farmers protested against the forest department in Mudigere.
