Manipal University signs MoU with CIHC, Canada

Manipal: Manipal University and the Canadian Interprofessional Health Collaborative (CIHC), Canada signed a MoU for designing and developing interprofessional initiatives on Tuesday.

Dr. John H V Gilbert, Founding Director of CIHC, in his speech lauded the efforts of Manipal University for being the pioneers in the field of interprofessional education in the region. He commended Manipal University on its vision to develop the FAIMER International Institute for Interprofessional education and practice (MUFIILIPE). Vice-Chancellor of Manipal University, Dr H. Vinod Bhat was the university signatory.

MUFIILIPE session begins

The residential session of MUFIILIPE began here on Sunday.

Dr. Ciraj AM, Course Director, MUFIILIPE, welcomed the gathering and highlighted the various activities undertaken by the institute towards enhancing interprofessional education focused on achieving patient-centered collaborative practice.

The residential session was inaugurated by Dr. Vinod Bhat, who emphasised the need for developing partnerships for resource-sharing in order to enhance health outcomes.
