With over 10 years of professional experience as an educator, entrepreneur, corporate trainer, professional counsellor and a HR personnel at premier management colleges, Mrs Tripti is an enthusiastic, committed educator with innate ability to understand and motivate students.
Addressing a press conference in Bengaluru on Wednesday, Mrs India-Karnataka director Pratibha Saunshimath (former Mrs India-Asia International) said Tripti was chosen among 700 contestants across the country. She was crowned the coveted crown at the Mrs INDIA-2017 finale held at Feathers hotel, Chennai on July 4.
With Mrs India event turning out to be one of the most sought after events across the country, there was a surge in applications and hence the organisers had to go for common zones (for example-they conducted north zone and east zone together at Delhi, south zone at Chennai and west zone at Pune). The winners from all these categories, a total of 46 finalists, were present at Chennai for the first three rounds. After the three rounds, 25 women were selected for the question and personality round and based on the answers and overall performance, Mrs Tripti was crowned Mrs INDIA-2017.
Speaking to the media, Tripti dedicated her victory to the people of Karnataka as it was an honour for the entire state. "I wholeheartedly thank my mentor and guiding spirit-Mrs Pratibha Saunshimath for being my pillar of support. She has been constantly guiding the Karnataka contestants on how to prepare for the finals and how to handle the assignment in the best way possible etc. I can only say that I was happy to be part of this programme as it provided a platform to the married women to make a difference in the world. This platform also empowered women by enriching opportunities for personal growth," said Tripti.
