Bengaluru: The Common Entrance Test (CET) for admission to various professional courses, excluding medical and dental, will start on Tuesday across the state. More than 1.85 lakh students are appearing for the examination this year.
For the first time, question papers will be printed both in Kannada and English.
According to the KEA officials, candidate has to collect the brochure from the examination centre after completion of the second session of the test on Wednesday, May 3.
Stringent security measures
Candidates are not allowed to wear/carry any type of wrist watch to the examination hall / room. The candidates are not to carry any tablet/mobile/calculator to the examination hall.
Elaborate security arrangements
A total of 4O4 observers, 808 Special Invigilation Squad members, 404 custodians and around 11625 invigilators and a total of 32000 officers/officials have been deployed to oversee examinations.
Kannada Language Test will be conducted on May 4 for Horanadu and Gadinadu Kannadiga candidates. The examination will be conducted only in Bengaluru. Around 1800 candidates are appearing for examination.
