Japan introduces food products and healthcare technology for health-conscious society

Many health-conscious people globally prefer to use seasonings, cooking oils and sweeteners made by Japan's Ajinomoto Company. Founded in 1917 by Dr. Kikunae Ikeda, a Japanese scientist the company forayed into Malaysian market in 1961. Since then Ajinomoto Malaysia has been an active player not only in business by continuously creating new products, but also in serving the local communities' needs. In 2011, on Ajinomoto Malaysia's 50th anniversary, the company initiated the '1909 Infosium' program. By introducing the concept of Umami, the focus of the program was to contribute to regional cuisines with the resources and knowhow of the Ajinomoto Group. Throughout the half-year of committing of ourselves in this educational program, more than one thousand and two hundred schools in Malaysia involving two hundred and forty four thousand students have benefits from this program itself. Not only food, Japan lay stress on healthcare. At the International Technical Exhibition of Medical Imaging 2016 latest medical imaging equipments and accessories were showcased.
