Over 2000 Cops Guard PM Modi in Bengaluru!

Submitted by Newseditor on Sun, 2016-01-03 23:24 Bengaluru: Prime Minister Narendra Modi was welcomed amid elaborate security arrangements to Prashanti Kuteera, the university campus of Swami Vivekananda Yoga Anusandhana Samsthana in Bengaluru on Sunday.  The deemed university campus is located at Kallubalu in Jigani on the outskirts of the city.Modi arrived in a helicopter from Tumkur, after laying the foundation stone for a new helicopter manufacturing unit of HAL. He landed at around 3.10 pm at the helipad inside the university campus. From there, he was taken to the venue, situated a few hundred metres away, in a car.Soon after he finished his speech, he left the campus at around 4.30 pm and headed to HAL Airport. Around 5.10 pm, he left for Delhi in an IAF flight. In Jigani, more than 1,500 policemen were deputed while at the HAL Airport, several hundred of policemen were deployed.
