AI's maiden flight from Delhi reaches Vienna

The direct flight from New Delhi to Vienna was welcomed with a traditional water cannon salute and the disembarking passengers were greeted at the Vienna International Airport on arrival. The inaugural flight to New Delhi, AI-154, has received an overwhelming response with almost full bookings. Air India, with code share arrangements with Austrian Airlines, will offer connections to more than 25 European destinations. Currently on the Europe Network, Air India presently connects seven European destinations in five countries which include UK-London and Birmingham; Germany-Frankfurt; France-Paris; Italy- Rome and Milan and Russia- Moscow. This non-stop service will operate thrice a week on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays with a B787 aircraft. (ANI)
