"The government has not given the land as per the Ready Reckoner Rate and that the rates of 1976, this has caused a huge loss to the government," he added. He further said that this move of the government would boost the morale of the encroachers. Galgali also said that the land allotted to the BJP MP in Mumbai's Ambi Valli, have been rated as per land rated as per Rs. 140 square per meters and that she has to pay 25 percent of it. An RTI enquiry has revealed that a land that is valued in crores currently has been allotted to veteran actress and BJP MP Hema Malini just for Rs 70,000.
