ISIS Suspects Arrest: Family Members Deny Allegations

Submitted by Subeditor on Fri, 2016-01-22 17:13 Bengaluru: Following the arrest of six ISIS terror suspects in Karnataka here on Friday, the family members of the suspects have come forward to speak out against police action.   Bushra Tabruz, the wife of suspect Mohammed Afzal convened a press conference here at Bangalore Press Club on Friday evening and said that Afzal neither involved in any terror activities nor have any link with the terror group.   “My husband has been working as a Project Manager with IHS company at Whitefield for last several years. He was a diligent employee and have never indulged in anti social activities. Yesterday night a group of about 35 police personnel entered the home without any search warrant and pointed a gun on Afzal's head saying that he was a terrorists. Police searched the entire house and seized everything. But still we don't know what was the mistake committed by Afzal,” she added.     Meanwhile, the family members of another suspect Syed Mujahid have also convened a press conference. Syed Hussain, father of Syed Mujahid claimed that his son is innocent has not involved in such activities.   “He was neither associated with any party nor with any association. He was running his shop in Tumkur and was living a decent life. The police conducted the raid and seized 6 passports that were made for his Hajj tour. The police have also seized 3 mobiles, Rs 3.35 lakh, “
