The programme is aimed at promoting financing for the start-ups, and give incentives to boost entrepreneurship. While delivering his Independence Day address from the ramparts of the Red Fort last year, Prime Minister Modi had announced about “Start-up India, Stand-up India” to encourage innovation and entrepreneurship among young people. In his “Mann ki Baat” programme last month, the Prime Minister had informed about the unveiling of blueprint for start-ups. He had said that the “Start-up India, Stand-up India” programme will connect bright minds and youth all over India who have the talent and the capability to propel India's growth. (ANI)
