Does Virat Kohli fair anywhere? As Google released its annual “Year in Search” video and website that highlights what people searched for most in 2015, India has got some amazing surprises and crazy figures. Those who ardently follow Narendra Modi and Bollywood Khans will be absolutely disappointed seeing the list. The fans of Sachin and Dhoni might either think of ending their miserable lives or plan to boycott Google forever. Though Kejriwal and Nitish Kumar could run amazing campaigns to become the heroes in political arena, they are not found even in the farthest premises of the winner. Then who is that amazing “figure” who could easily push even PM Narendra Modi to the 10th Place? Only Lionel Messi could become the world’s best footballer for four years consecutively, and in the near future nobody is expected to do that magic again. But in Google search statistics, India has found his match and surprisingly there is similarity in the spelling of their names also! Yes, she did it in 2014. And now in 2015 too. The same possibilities may not be ruled out in 2016 and 17. Indeed the netizens’ favourite “figure” is none other than the porn star turned Bollywood actress Sunny Leone. The newly released Google “Year in Search” statistics has listed out the most searched figures by the Indians, and in the second successive year Sunny Leone ranked the first in the list leaving the celebrities far behind. The irony is definitely a mockery of the hypocrisy that surrounds the depiction of sexuality in the country by the so called “samskaris”. The only other social icon who could manage to find a decent figure in the list was the late former President APJ Abdul Kalam. Even after holding the credit for a tremendous digital propaganda and “envisioning” a techno-savvy Digital India, Narendra Modi has to be happy with the worst-10th rank in the list. Even Bajrangi Bhaijaan and daunting controversies were not enough to catapult Salman Khan to the number one position. Other names listed in the first ten are Katrina Kaif, Deepika Padukone, Shah Rukh Khan, Yo Yo Honey Singh, Kajal Aggarwal and Alia Bhatt. What makes Sunny Leone this much popular and the most rendered name on Google? Was it because of her “breathtaking” performances in the recently released Bollywood movies? Well, breathing patterns of her viewers are definitely disturbed often but for attributing it to a five-film old “actor” wouldn’t make much of sense. Among those films, her only Box Office “hit” was “Ek Paheli Leela” and all other movies performed below the average. Then what could be the reason? The most possible answer is so simple and precise. Since Google doesn't have any inhibition on its users to access the porn sites, Sunny Leone will remain a tough nut to crack. Indeed, the new Google statistics is literally a setback for the government too. Even government's temporary ban on porn sites couldn't stop Sunny Leone from being the “most wanted” in India. Cool!India remains incredible with such unpredictabilities..
