Submitted by Newseditor on Tue, 2015-12-01 21:12 Bengaluru: A day after the massive protest #savewhitefield by techies and denizens of Whitefield in Bengaluru, a group has started an email campaign demanding to expand the bus stop at Kundalahalli Gate Junction on Varthur Road connecting to Marathahalli to facilitate accommodating 200 people at a time. At present it can take a maximum of only 15 people.According to Sarika Varshney, who has started the campaign,“ It’s just an effort,to get a proper bus stop. We are a small group of people who came up together in the #Savewhitefield protest and felt empathetic about the issue there and are working on it. Around 80 people have emailed the request,” she said. According to the campaign, the mail has to be sent to the Managing Director, BMTC by over 1000 commuters from Whitefield. Within two hours of its beginning, about 100 people had responded by sending emails to the person concerned. Here goes the draft:
