The government issued orders to this effect on Saturday. The state government had decided to appoint Neelamani as the DGP of newly formed Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB).  However, the government changed its mind and decided to place her in the ISD. Neelamani Raju had been on central deputation since 1993 and was expected to return to state services in November. However, she reported to the Department of Personnel and Administration Reforms (DPAR) onMarch 21, stating that she had been relieved from the central deputation. With this unexpected development, the state government was in a fix as there were no DGP level posts to suit her seniority. The state has six DGP posts and all the six are occupied. DG
