Man held for selling dead croc to Bengaluru hotels

Submitted by alvin on Wed, 2016-03-16 14:46 Bengaluru: The Bengaluru City Police arrested a person who tried to sell a two-foot-long dead crocodile to eateries on MG Road and Brigade road on Tuesday. The arrested has been identified as E Anand Guru Beemanna, a resident of Rampuram Village, Kurnool in Andra Pradesh.An alert hotel owner tipped-off the police about Anan selling the dead reptile to a few Chinese restaurants and they soon arrested Anand from Dubai Plaza, said Ashok Nagar police.
