As the miscreants had used the BBMP logo, it led to a controversy. Bfirst was the first to report on the issue.Now, the BBMP has woken up to the issue, blackening the offensive words. Locals, too, are happy with the action. Speaking to Bfirst, Michael, a resident, said they had no clue about the ownership of the banners. “Last week, BBMP staff came and removed the derogatory words,” he said.
