Submitted by Subeditor on Sat, 2015-12-19 23:10 Bengaluru: The Karnataka workers of Congress Party, on Saturday, mocked the NDA Government led by Narendra Modi for “conspiring against the Congress President Sonia Gandhi and Vice President Rahul Gandhi” in the National Herald Case.The activists of Congress party, while staging a protest at the Freedom Park, expressed their anger against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP spokesperson Subramanian Swamy for trying vendetta politics on Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi.Addressing the activists at the protest rally, Former Union Minister M V Rajashekharan said the union government is jeopardising the nation’s integrity by such steps against the opposition party. The Prime Minister should count the contributions of congress party to the country before stooping to levels, he added.Speaking on the occassion, Minister for Rural Development, M B Patil said, it is regretful to see the NDA government is carrying the politics of hatred. This is not the way to do politics. People have gradually lost their trust on the Modi government, he lamented.Expressing their disappointment with the central government, Minister for Bengaluru Development K J George said this is not fair on the part of the Modi-led government to target the opposition party leaders like this. “People are aware of the conspiracy of the government against the opposition leaders. The people will teach the government a lesson for its vendetta politics”, he added.Ministers Ramalinga Reddy, Dinesh Gundurao and Congress leader D Sudarshan and other leaders were present.
