Protesters expressed their anger against Trump by shouting the slogans such as “Dump Trump in 2016”. Asif Iqbal, Co-Founder of Tawazun movement said, “I am a proud Muslim, but you do not have to share my faith to share my disgust. Trump is trying to write racism in the law books. His comment on Islamophobia does not reflect American values. It might damage his country's reputation and could even threaten their national security.” “Americans should stop him. We are hereby barring Donald Trump from entering India until we fully understand the dangerous threat posed by all the Trumps. He is not welcome in India. We are submitting a signed protest letter to Richard Varma, the US Ambassador to India to express our concern,” he added. Earlier, Donald Trump, US Presidential aspirant from Republican party, had opined that Muslims should be banned from entering United States.
