Submitted by Newseditor on Wed, 2015-12-02 17:17 Mangaluru: Academy of Hospital Administration (AHA) Mangaluru, Manipal Chapter is organising a two day national conference on safe and sustainable hospitals “SASH -2015” at Yenepoya Medical College from December 5. Organising committee chairman Dr Ghulam Jeelani Qadiri told mediapersons at Patrika Bhavan on Wednesday that the conference is a highly focused event organised for doctors, hospital owners, administrators, hospital agencies, students of health administration and management, architects, civil engineers, interior designers, materials management professionals and industries involved in health care. The conference aims to provide a platform bringing together professionals involved in health arena to discuss and seek possible answers. A total of 40 scientific papers and equal number of posters will be presented by faculty and students who are coming from about 18 states all over the country, he added. “The conference will be inaugurated by Health Minister U T Khader and Yenepoya University Chancellor Yenepoya Abdulla Kunhi will preside over the programme. There will be a parallel session on nursing administration where prominent nursing administrators like Dr Christopher Sudhakar, Prof Jyothi Clara and Dr Bobby Ramesh will be the speakers”, Ghulam added. Other coordinators Dr Amitha Marla, Dr M Dayananda and Dr Mohammed Guthigar were present.
