Muscat Mogaveer Koota Celebrates Silver Jubilee

Submitted by Subeditor on Wed, 2015-11-25 11:56 Muscat : Muscat Mogaveers Koota (MMK), one of the pioneer community organisations in Oman is all set to celebrate its Silver Jubilee of establishment here with wide ranging programmes. The celebrations will be on November 27 held at Grand Hall, Al Falaj Hotel where a group of dignitaries from Mangaluru will also attend the programme.Nadoja Dr. G Shankar, Pramod Madhwaraj (M.L.A. Udupi Constituency, Karnataka, Member Konkan Railway Consultative Committee, Mumbai), Bhuvanendra Kidiyoor, Managing Director Kidiyoor Hotels Pvt. Ltd., Udupi, Yashpal Suvarna, State Secretary, BJYM, President, BN Narasimha, President, Bengalure Mogaveera Sangha are expected to attend the Silver Jubilee celebration.Many representatives from UAE Mogaveers, Kuwait Mogaveers and Bahrain Mogaveers will also attend the function.Commemorating the Silver Jubilee, a Souvenir will be released on this occasion. The members and their children who have excelled in various fields will be honoured in recognition of their individual achievements.Ganesh Beejadi and Kalavati Puthran together with a band of highly talented musicians will enthrall the audience with melodious filmy / folk songs in different languages mixed with a feast of instrumental music. Satish Hemmady team will present a spectacular magic show and ventriloquist show. The members of Muscat Mogaveers Koota will also display variety of cultural programmes to enrich the occasion .Muscat Mogaveera Koota came into existence in the year 1989 with a prime objective of bringing all the community members of coastal Karnataka region living in Oman under one umbrella. The organisation also aims to encourage multiple potential talents, socio-cultural programmes, sports activities and to uphold the goal of preserving the traditions and rich cultural heritage of Coastal Karnataka.
