Hailing from Bekal in Uduma taluk, Salman Faris and Abdul Basit (both aged 14) were found roaming aimlessly by railway police on February 28. They had no tickets and were clueless about where to go. Upon enquiry, the duo admitted to have run away from home. The police gathered the details of their whereabouts and asked their parents to come and take custody of their boys. The boys returned here with their parents.
