MCON students pledge to make cleanliness a top priority

Submitted by alvin on Sat, 2016-02-27 21:38 Udupi: Keeping in mind Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Swachh Bharat Mission, students of Manipal College of Nursing, Manipal, on Saturday took a pledge to maintain cleanliness. “A clean India would be the best tribute India could pay to Mahatma Gandhi on his 150 birth anniversary in 2019,” said the PM when he had launched the Swachh Bharat campaign.Dr. Anice George, Dean, Manipal College of Nursing, Manipal, gave an overview of the swachhata mission and also emphasized the importance of maintaining cleanliness in classrooms, hostels etc. Tenzin Tsogyal, President of Student Nurses’ Association 2015–16 administered the oath. A total of 620 students took the pledge to give cleanliness top priority.
