Sandeep Shenoy, Deputy Director, Quality and Compliance, received the award on behalf of the university from Minister of State for HRD Dr Ram Shankar Katheria. The summit was organised by ASSOCHAM in association with AIU. ASSOCHAM instituted the award to felicitate and honour institutions, universities, colleges, schools and service providers who have contributed significantly in improving the quality in education, delivery mechanism with emphasis on world-class research and innovations. Manipal University has been making giant strides in research. With dedicated hubs for research in life sciences, stem cells, atomic biophysics, clinical embryology, genetics, drug discovery and virology, the quality of medical research in the university is world-class.
