He was carrying Rs 25 lakh along with him during the journey. He arrived at Mangaluru Junction Railway and was waiting for a bus near Pumpwell. Meanwhile, unidentified four persons reportedly arrived in a four-wheeler and forcibly pulled him inside. Later they drove him towards Bantwal direction. Before dropping him near Maripalla, they robbed off his money. According to the complaint by Zubair, the money he was carrying had given by his owner, who owns a lodge in Mumbai. Money was given to pay in person for a house construction of his owner in Kerala. He also told police that he travelled in general compartment from Mumbai to Mangaluru. However, police are clueless on why Zubair took several days to file a complaint. A case has been registered at Managaluru Rural Police Station and investigation is on.
