I got the DySP transferred, says Labour Minister

Submitted by Editor on Wed, 2016-01-27 19:29 Bengaluru: The truth is finally out. After denying allegations that he had a role in the transfer of DySP Anupama Shenoy, Labour Minister PT Parameshwar Naik was shown bragging about his deed in front of an enthusiastic crowd by TV channels on Tuesday. During a party meeting in Hampasagara village of Hagaribommanahalli Taluk in Ballari, Parameshwar was caught boasting by a TV news channel about how he had punished a female DySP by transferring the officer after she had put his call on hold. “A DySP put my call on hold, and that too for 42 seconds. Later I spoke to her and transferred her within a day,” the minister is shown as saying by the TV channel. The minister had all this while maintained that he had nothing to do with the sudden transfer of the officer nearly a week ago. Om Prakash, DGP
