Sherlyn Mendonca, an Indian expat, staying in this magnificent city, has caught some sensational winter moments in her lens.   This morning entire Dubai city, which usually witnesses bright sun rays, was covered by clouds as the city is expecting some rain. Her photos are enough to describe how vibrant Dubai is. Gulf region usually receives less rain but during winter, it enjoys little showers. Dubai witnessed light rains in parts of city and in Sharjah at 10.30am.   The UAE’s Met office also confirmed that the country would witness scattered showers over the next 24 hours until Wednesday, December 9. According to the reports, UAE’s National Centre for Meteorology and Seismology, the lowest temperature recorded at eve hour at Jebel Jais mountain of Ras Al Khaimah was 2.6 degrees, with the country overall experiencing a four-degree drop in the average mean temperatures.   MET department is also forecast that rain is expected across the UAE today, stating the northwesterly winds would increase cloud cover in the north, giving rise to spattering of rain, especially in Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah and the UAE islands. Ravindra Acharya, an Indian expat who witnessed the chilly weather said, “It is very difficult to drive when it starts raining. The chilly weather also makes you lazy, making it difficult to reach offices in time!”
