With live performances by the hotel resident band, the InterContinental team singers and the Saint Christopher’s School children’s choir, the guests were also treated to delicacies such as Christmas Cookies, Mince Pies and Hot Chocolate as well as gifts by the hotel. It was a fun-filled evening, where the warmth and spirit of the season was felt by parents and children alike. The event also saw a visit from Santa Claus to the InterContinental Regency Bahrain’s own gingerbread village. A host of guests, members of the media, staff members, exclusive invitees and hotel officials attended the event. Speaking at the event, Jan Ifcic, Area General Manager of InterContinental Regency Bahrain stated: “Here, at InterContinental Regency Bahrain, we aim to spread the Christmas cheer by treating our guests to our Christmas festivities. The lighting of the Christmas tree is a joyful event as it heralds the start of a host of our festive events to take place in the month of December leading up to the New Year.
