Addressing a press conference here on Thursday, NHCE Principal Dr Manjunatha said, " In the context of higher education, the 'A' grade status indicates that NHCE has met the highest standards of quality as set by NAAC in terms of performance, related to the educational processes and outcomes; covering the curriculum, teaching-learning, evaluation, faculty, research, infrastructure, learning resources, organisation, governance, financial well being and student services." In the past few weeks, NHCE has got a number of accolades and recognition at the national level too. New Horizon College of Engineering was awarded as the "Outstanding technical education institute in Karntaka - 2016.” The award was presented to the New Horizon Educational Institutions chairman Dr Mohan Manghnani during the National Karnataka Education Summit and Awards 2016 at VTU Centre of PG Studies, Muddenahalli (near Chikkaballapur) on March 14. Besides, it has also ben awarded best engineering college in India –South in February 2016.
