Submitted by Editor on Tue, 2016-01-19 14:27 Kuwait: The devotional songs of acclaimed naat singer Mohammed Nabeel Barkaati Bangalore was the cynosure of all 'ears' at the recently concluded Eshq-E-Rasool Conference in Kuwait. Organized by Karnataka Cultural Foundation (KCF) Kuwait National Committee at Indian Model School Salmia, the programme was initiated by Kuwait Mangaaf Tanghal’s Dua (Arabic for 'invocation), and was presided over by Syed Abdul Rahman Imbicchi Koya Thangal Bayar. Emphasizing on the importance of swalath, Koya Thangal Bayar urged the audience to practice the real preachings of the Prophet for prevailing peace and humanity. Ashraf Zaini Coorg inaugurated the event and explained the role and objectives of the Karnataka Cultural Foundation network in brining together non-residential Kannadigas together from across the globe for the benefit of the community's socio-cultural and educational developments. KCF international council treasurer Habeeb Koya Karwar also addressed the gathering, alongside performances of the KCF Burdha team and Master Sahul's recitation of the Qirath. The event also witnessesed the release of the Eshq-E-Rasool souvenir in the presence of ICF (Indian Cultural Foundation) Kuwait leader Sayyad Bafaqi Thangal, Hakeem Dharimi, ICF general secretary Tanjeri Usthad and KCF leaders Mahin Saqafi, Abdul Rahman Saqafi and Shareef Rifayi. KCF Kuwait general secretary Mansoor kotagadde welcomed the gathering and Hussain Yemmemadu Coorg delivered the vote of thanks. Kuwait KCF organizing division president Nazeer Naeemi compered the programme.
