Submitted by Editor on Tue, 2016-04-19 11:44 A delectable dish that can be prepared in barely 10 min can engulf you with the aromas of the sea and tantalise your tastebuds with the aromatic flavours.Ingredients10 - 12 fresh devilled prawns12 - 15 cloves of garlic unpeeled, finely chopped10 long dried red chillies200 gms butter2 tsps soya sauce2 tsp of lemon juiceMethod of preparationMarinate prawns in lemon juice  and keep aside.Boil red chillies  in half a cup of water for 5 min.Once cooled, grind to a coarse paste.Melt butter in a wok and once transparent, fry garlic till golden brown.Reduce heat and then add 2 tsp of the chilli paste and fry till oil separates.Add the soya sauce and stir well.Toss in prawns and let the spicy mixture coat them.Cook for 3 mins on high heat till it curls.Season with salt.PresentationPlate the prawns in the centre of a big plate . Pour a little melted butter on top of them.Garnish with two red chillies on top and chopped coriander leaves.Importance of GarlicThe most flavoursome and common ingredient in cooking that adds that potent punch.
