Submitted by Newseditor on Mon, 2015-12-07 21:35 Bengaluru: A 25- year old woman committed suicide by jumping off the 11th floor of a commercial building on Kasturba Road in Central Bengaluru on Monday. She reportedly depressed over the death of her boyfriend in an accident recently. The Cubbon Park police said that the deceased J Pooja, a resident of Byatarayanapura and a native of Gulbarga was employed with babajob.com, situated at the 5th floor of the same building from where she jumped to her death. Police said that the incident took place at around 3 pm on Monday at the Prestige Obelisk building. The security staff of the building who witnessed the incident informed the police about it. The police who rushed to the spot found a death note in the pocket. “I can't live without Charan (her lover), sorry dad and mummy,” read the letter. The preliminary investigations revealed that she was in love with her colleague Charan, a native of Turuvekere and both their families were aware about it. But, to her misfortune, Charan was killed along with his friend Krishna Yadav near Bengaluru International Airport in a mishap in early hours of Saturday. An upset Pooja had visited Charan's house with her friend on Monday before going to office. She called Charan's friend Vasu over mobile phone at around 2.20 pm and expressed her desire to talk to Charan. Vasu managed to a deranged Pooja that nobody could talk to Charan as he was no more. But, she was adamant, went to 11th floor of the building and ended her life. The Cubbon Park police have taken up a case of unnatural and are investigating.
