3 Murders: Parameshwar gets Strict with Madiwala Police

Submitted by Newseditor on Thu, 2015-12-03 22:17 Bengaluru: State Home Minister G Parameshwar has issued stringent instructions to Madiwala Police to bring down the crime rate following murder three persons in JJ Nagar, Pulakeshinagar and Hulimavu. He on a visit to the Madiwala Police Station. In J J Nagar, few friends fought over a financial issue during which 23-year-old Waseem, a resident of Gangondanahalli was murdered. At around 9 pm, Waseem along with his friends was near a tea stall in Farooq Nagar, Waseem and Salman started fighting over some money transaction. Police said Waseem reportedly asked Salman to give him Rs 2000 and during the squabble, Salman took out his knife and stabbed him. Waseem was rushed to Victoria hospital by the local people where he was declared brought dead. Waseem was a habitual offender and there was a modus operandi card on him in J J Nagar police station. In Pulakeshinagar (Frazer Town), 24-year-old Pradeep Kumar alias James was stabbed to death by his friends when he was returning from a bar and restaurant after consuming alcohol. Police said, James had snatched money from his friend Karthik and gone to bar to consume alcohol. At around 11 pm he walked out of bar when Karthik and his friends were waiting for him. They slit his throat and escaped from the spot. James was rushed to a private hospital where he died while undergoing treatment. Police have nabbed Kulla Karthik, Stalin, Anand, Vinod and Karthik alias Karna all aged around 19 years and are interrogating. In another incident, a group of friends got into a brawl while playing cricket in Hulimavu during which they killed a 23-year-old Kempamadegowda alias Shiva alias Baby, a resident of Vysya Bank colony. Police said he was at loggerheads with his friends since the past few months and they were vindictive about him. They used the fight during the sport as an opportunity and bludgeoned him to death at around 10.30 pm. Shiva was working as an office boy in a firm. The previous week he had quarrelled with his friends Madhan and Shiva. Police have nabbed Madhan, Mohan and Shashank in this connection and are investigating.
