Submitted by alvin on Wed, 2016-05-18 13:27 Bengaluru: A woman was found dead at her residence with her hands and legs tied at Chikkagubbi on Wednesday. The deceased identified as Kiran Singh (45) was a volunteer in Manasa Trust. The incident came to light when the domestic help came home. She found that the house was unlocked. As she entered the house, she saw Kiran lying dead with her hands and legs tied. She immediately informed the neighbours and alerted the police. According to the police, prima facie it appears there were more than one person involved in the murder. They suspect that someone known to her or a gang which must have observed her movements could have committed the murder. Kiran lived alone. Police ruled out the fact that this could be a murder for gain as there were no signs of robbery inside the house. Kiran has been living in the city for the past five years. Before Manasa Trust, Kiran Singh worked as HR trainer with many airlines. DCP North-East Harsha visited the spot along with dog squad and FSL experts. Kothanur police have registered the case and investigations are underway.
