Submitted by alvin on Tue, 2016-03-29 12:01 Bengaluru: The Peenya police have arrested a 28-year-old tea vendor for allegeldy strangulating his wife to death after he caught her red-hand while chatting with her male freind on whatsapp on March 24. The accused Kallash strangled Priyanka, (19), with a mobile charger cable. Following a complaint by Priyanka’s parents, the police tracked down Kallesh to Kadur, his home town. According to the police, Kallesh married Priyanka, his niece, a year ago. The couple was living with Priyanka's parents. While Kallesh was a tea vendor in Sunkadakatte Priyanka was persuing her second year BA at a private college in Dasarahalli, a senior police officer said. Kallesh noticed that of late, Priyanka would constantly be on her phone. Couple of times, he saw her chatting with a male friend and had warned her. However, on March 24, Kallesh who returned home early, found Priyanka exchanging romantic messages on her phone with a stranger. Furious, Kallesh strangled Priyanka with a mobile cable and fled after she breathed her last, said the police.
