Submitted by Editor on Wed, 2016-02-24 15:02 Bengaluru: Suspecting fidelity of his wife, a garment factory worker murdered his 28-year-old wife in Preethinagar in Rajagopalanagar police station limits on Monday. The deceased Rani hailed from Andhra Pradesh and her husband, Vijay Kumar, 32, was from Hassan. He has been arrested by the police. Rani and Vijay had got married about six years ago and the couple have two daughters. Police said that Vijay suspected his wife was having an extra-marital affair, which resulted in regular quarrels between the couple. On Monday morning, too, there was an argument, but Rani’s brother Somashekhar's intervention had pacified the two. Police said the quarrel flared up once more in the evening on Monday. "Vijay picked up a quarrel with his wife and slapped her. She starting bleeding in the ears and noticing it, Vijay left his along with his two daughters. Seeing the girls leaving with their father, neighbours went to Rani’s house and found her in an unconscious state. They immediately rushed her to a hospital, where the doctors declared her brought dead,” the police said. The Rajagopalanagar police, who were alerted about the incident, rushed to Rajagopalanagar bus stop and arrested Vijay, who was waiting for a bus. The police are questioning Vijay about the incident.
