The ends was disappointing as the match took an interesting turn with India making inroads into Pakistan's lower order, just before the rain interrupted. Chasing a small target of 97, Pakistan were 76-6 at the end of 16 overs when rain poured in. The rain interrupted just when India was on top and had taken two quick wickets to send some jitters in the Pakistani camp. For Pakistan, Sidra Ameen was the top scorer and played run-a-ball inning of 26 runs. This was the second time Pakistan have defeated India in a T20I game and second in the WT20s too. Earlier, Pakistani bowlers displayed a dominant performance and kept the Indian batters under check throughout the innings. It was a brilliant performance in the field for Pakistan, limiting India to just seven runs in the powerplay. For India, V Krishnamurthy was the top scorer and played a quick fire 24-run inning off 19 balls. Anam Amin of Pakistan was adjudged the woman of the match for her impressive spell of bowling. She gave just nine runs in her quota of four overs and picked up a wicket. (ANI)
