Submitted by Newseditor on Tue, 2015-11-10 15:57 Manipal: Manipal University and Aatreya Education Systems Private Limited signed a Memorandum of Understanding at the Edu building here on Monday to initiate a Centre for Integrative Medicine and Research (CIMR). The Registrar, Dr Narayan Sabhahit signed on behalf of Manipal University and Dr Satyajith Kadkol, Director Aatreya Education Systems Pvt Ltd was the other signatory. This initiative will be between the Department of Ayurveda, Manipal University and Aatreya Education Systems Private Limited and the objective of CIMR will be to create a platform for individuals, academic institutions and industries by facilitating investments and infrastructure. Under CIMR various fundamental research, drug development, clinical trials, standardisation and training will be held. It will be a multi-disciplinary cluster to support R and D in the field of integrative medicine. Also present on the occasion was Dr K.J.Malagi, Prof and Head of Department of Ayurveda and Dr Gayathri Kadkol, also director Aatreya Education Systems Pvt Ltd.
